I got tortured by my husband and in laws for dowry ... he beaten me cruelly. somehow I managed to get away then my husband ask sorry and ask me to stay in my parents home.....then he filed divorcerin family court without my knowledge ...he put false allegation like cruelty consumption of liquor andseveral others . .I am also want divorce but I want to know any way so that allegation put on me got cleared..can i file defamation case .

No defamation cases between husband and wife. If any loss incurred in reputation in public, defamation takes place.
