Car insurance claim on temp. no. and driving on yamuna eway

Hi,

My new car met with an accident on yamuna expressway(closed for general use). My car registration was temporary. I filed the DDR on the same day at nearby police station. In DDR its mention that I'm driving on highway. Yamuna expressway is not written in any of the given documents.

Now insurance company saying that  yamuna expressway is closed so we can't provide you claim. Is there any possibility to get claim as my car is in major loss condition.
