A police constable attached to the MFC police station at Kalyan has been arrested by the Thane unit of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1.50 lakh, the ACB said here today.

1. Arrest of Husband/family in dowry case is part of COTTAGE INDUSTRY.
2. Authorities were always hand in glove in this cottage industry.
3. Otherwise Ranjana Kumari will not be shedding prime time tears when recent SC Judgment (directions) on no dowry arrest was debated.
Hon'ble Apex court should be made aware of such news reports.

nothing special. Many police personnel get arrested taking bribe for official favour like any other Govt servant and are convicted as well.
