I was born in UP and i need my birth certificate from there. I have requested a lawyer to help me with that. He has asked me to sign the vakalatnama which looks like a standard documents and has lot of points not valid for just to get birth certificate on my behalf.
I want to know if i sign the document as is, is there anywy he can abuse it. I can't think of anything for which he may misuse the document but still would like to have an expert opinion.
