Hello Everyone,
I got a job offer in December last year and i asked my current employer to release me from my duties . They asked me not to quit and promised to pay me more than what i was offered but asked me to wait till april 2014. I asked him a give me the same in writing as a verbal promise doesnt hold any value. I have an email from my boss which states that "so and so amount will be paid to you wef from April 2014" . Also, i have email from his boss confirming the same.
Now, I am getting a sense that they mat not do it as i have completed all the work and the process is smooth. I would like to check whether i have any rights as an employee , given the fact that i have the promise in writing ( email )
I am really tensed and worried. I would really appreciate all the help i can get.
