I have made advance for a resale Flat. But after a week I came to know that the property is not complying corporation guideline and drop the idea to purchase the same flat. Now the owner is avoiding to return the advance amount of Rs50K . Even he isnot picking up my phone. In spite of in his home his other family members telling that the owner is out of station. Please advice what to do ? As I stays in other state where the flat owner stays? So filing FIR will be more time consuming for me. Please advice.
