TEACHER GRATUITY

I joined a CBSE school on 6 July 1998 and resigned 5 October 2004 (total 6 years2 months and 29 days). Am I eligible for gratuity as per the act presented in parliament in 16 December 20009? What will be the process for demanding gratuity for previous employer?

THERE IS NO CHANCE TO GET GRETUITY ! ACT THAT IN PARLIAMENT IS IN THE NUT SHELL !!GENERALLY NO ACT WARKS POST -FACTO EFFECTS

The law is not in retrospective effect unless and untill it is specifically provided.

At present there is no law for providing gratuity to the teachers working in unaided schools. let we hope a new legislation in the coming days to come.
