dear sir please tell me that for approving a homeloan in SBI how many years legal chain or title deed of property is necessary

Not a legal problem.

Being internal procedure of the SBI, better contact the manager of the home loan unit of your nearest branch of SBI.

In most of the cases Bank prefer to search chain of title for the last 30 years.
