Dear Experts,
I have come to learn that around 5-6 years back, a cousin (Girl) of my wife had also filed 498A/406/34/DV/DP Act on the innocent person whom she got married with...Now, I have also become the victim to the same gang & they are following the same steps...
Can anyone guide on how to obtain the�copy of FIR lodged (during 2008-09)�by that cousin of my wife as I am have got that FIR no. & wants to produce the certified copy of the same in front of courts during my trial & wants to convey that this is a "498A family Gang".
Is there any way that the same may be procured through the RTI ?

You have FIR No. ??
You can trace the year as 12/ 2003 or 12 / 03 It means it is, of year 2003.
At first find out the police station where it would have lodged.
If you have traced the police station you, with the help of a lawyer, can trace the FIR in concerned court having the jurisdiction of that police station. You can get certified copy of all the relevant papers from the court.
Otherwise if you want only copy of FIR you can get it through RTI from concerned court.

Get a certified copy of FIR from the concerned court. You can ask through RTI from the concerned police station regarding trial was done by which court.

If you have the FIR No. , you can obtain a certified copy of the same from the police station by filing proper application and depositing fees determined.In case the Police is not inclined to supply you a copy , you can move suitable petition for passing of direction to the concerned P.S. for supply of the same .You can take assistance of a experienced Criminal lawyer of your locality for obtaining the required document.
