No details in ec for past 12 years

(Querist) 10 December 2012 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sir/Madam,
My dad bought a DC land in 1983.We applied for EC in 2 slots(1983 to 1993 and 2000 to 2012).In 1983 to 1993 EC indicates the records are in my father's name which is in written EC.In 2000 to 2012 EC (computerized record) indicates no records are available for this property. Is there any issue if it is like that? What’s the next to proceed? Kindly help on this.

Kesav! The possibility of non insertion of the old property in computer may not be denied so first of all enquire from the relevant manual record whether the due entry was made in computer or mistakenly left.

Thereafter if need arises, you can go throgh all mutations entered/sanctioned in the record after 1999 and trace out the exact reason of deletion of ownership and act accordingly.

When your father has bought a land in 1983 and thereafter there were no transactions in respect of the land, EC, if taken from 1983 onwards would only indicate the sale in favor of your father/your father's name as owner.
When you obtain EC from 2000 to 2012, alone, there would only be 'nil' transactions and the same shows that the property was not further encumbered and the position is favorable for your father and there is nothing to worry.
