You can seek the court intervention to declare the sale void.

property is in the forms of govt. bonds

If mother is the guardian under the order of the court then the sale made by the father of such minor is civil as well as criminal offence. In civil matter, you can get the quashing of the sale and in respect of criminal action, you can file a FIR under section 406 and 420 IPC.

It's only comes under section 420 of IPC

When mother is guarding father cannot sell the property of the minor without the permission of the court. This sale is not binding on the minor.
Follow the advise given by the learned members to file criminal case.

When the mother is guardian, the father shall not alieanate such property even with the permission of the court, and the court will not permit him to do the sdazme this right is exxclusively rests on guardian/mother only
