Kinly guide rearding weather safe to join govt job or not

DEAR SIR

I HAVE COMPLETED MY MASTERS DEGREE DURING 2015-17 ON REGULAR BASIS. BUT AT THE SAME TIME I WAS ON PRIVATE JOB IN LIMITED COMPANY. The distance from job place to degree college is 2.5 hours away. JOB TIMINGS WERE ON SHIFT BASIS
15 DAYS- 7AM TO 3 PM
NEXT 15 DAYS- 3 PM TO 11 PM
NEXT 15 DAYS- 11 PM TO 7 AM
IN THIS MANNER.

Degree class timing were 9 am to 1 pm daily and only one day lab in a week from 2 pm to 5 pm.

NOW I HAVE GOT GOVERNMENT JOB ON BEHALF OF MY MASTERS DEGREE. I DID NOT MENTIONED MY ANY PRIVATE JOB EXPERIENCE FOR MY CURRENT GOVT JOB. KINDLY GUIDE ME WEATHER I SHOULD JOIN CURRENT GOVT. JOB OR NOT. BEACUSE SOME COMPEPITIOR ARE THREATENING THAT YOU WERE ON PVT JOB DURING MASTERS DEGREE. Kindly guide me regarding this issue.

If the new job at Govt is advantageous, you can joing since you have not revealed it while applying.

I am S.CHANDRASEKARAN having been a senior gazetted Government servant and finally retired as an Additional Secretary Rank officer to the Government of India with an experience over 38 years in the Government service, giving you this advice as an expert in your best interest:-
1) You have got this government job may it be Central Government or State Government service. But as per Government service rules you cannot work in any private company or firm or any such organization while you are in the Government Service. If it comes to the knowledge of the higher authorities in the department you are going to join, they can take a disciplinary action against you under the service rules as well as conduct rules. Further they will immediately suspend the person against whom such action is being contemplated which will finally go to the level of dismissal from the government service. So never ever try to do any private job work while you are in Government service.
2) Till now you were having the private job service and you were also a student of some University doing or pursuing your graduate course. No matter till then but once you join a government service all these conditions start applying to you. The department will not ask you about the circumstances or position what you were doing before you have joined the government service.
3) While in government service even if you want to do further advance courses of education to qualify yourself further for any advancement in the career, you have to take prior permission and then pursue those courses. Without having the permission from the department or any such controlling authority you can never pursue any such advanced courses.
