Adoption !

Dear Expert Friends of the forum !

A widow , after getting her only Daughter
Married; can legally adopt one more minor girl? What is the status of the minor girl, If this act (adoption,not written) is not registered but agreed (Referred / Reiterated) in some Revenue documents?
This is pertaining to an Hindu Family and from state of Andhra Pradesh.

As per section 11 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act he must not have a daughter living at the time of adoption.
