Transfer of flat in co op soc

We want to tranfer the flat in co op soc in our name [3 brothers]. The flat is in name of our late grandfather. The society is dealying the matter. A person [friend] has adviced us to obtain succession cerificate and submit to society.
What is the procedure for it in mumbai. what is total cost involved icluding lawyers fee court fee? And the min. duration taken.

The advice given is perfect. Contact a local civil lawyer and bargain over his professional fee and provide him the title deed of the property and death certificate of your grand father.

The connected expenses are 3% of the current value of the property (as per collector rate) and time required is not less than 6 months.

whether u have submitted alll forms to society? if yes, ask them reason for delay. U then to go to registrar of society for entering names.
