Friends,I convey my deep gratitude to LCI site which helped me to score good marks in Corp Law,Banking/Ins.Laws and Taxation Law papers of CS-Final exams which I qualified with 61% avg. The results were declared recently. Now the big qn.is whether to quit Central Govt service which I am in for the last 22 years (I am 43 now)working as Stenographer drawing 32k/pm. My Ministry does not require a CS and probably I am the only qualified CS in the entire Ministry. In all the levels of CS exams I scored avg.of 61-62% which is nearer to the all-India rankers. I seek your kind advise so that I successfully begin 2nd innings of my career life. Thanks and Regards

You make representation to the highest authorities of your department, if still you want to serve your department and pray them to suitably adjust you and utilize your capabilities because without any proper vacancy or scheme, you cannot be gainfully promoted as desired in the same department but if you leave present job and are ready to serve in corporate sector or to start your own practice then you have bright chances to well utilize your capabilities which you have clearly mentioned in your quarry.
