Guest (Querist) 06 February 2019 This query is : Resolved
Respevted Sir i m belong to UP. we have shited to haryana 2 year ago. We lived in meerut around 25 yr and also have voter id and old ration card etc with us. Now in upsc obc its written that it must be from state yur father belong my question is that.

If we get it from DM office meerut by showing my old certificate and merrut city old ration card and other proof that we lived there so long is it ok or not.

Or should apply from my father village area thesildar village also in meerut but tehsil is different distrcit is same meerut.

Your are querying and answering. the UPSC asked in application " for which state to your father belong". Your family lived in UP and you have certificates from UP. so proceed. best of luck.
