Hello, in our residential society, we have a registered cultural committee, which is not a part of registered housing society. As a cultural committee can society MC restrict us to do any Pooja in a common premises ? And can they also restrict us to use Notice board for any announcements about the activity ? Pls guide.

Raise the issue in annual general meeting if the Managing Committee has any objection.

1. Society Mg.Committee (MC) is the ONLY legitimate authority and trustee for administration and management of the Society affairs and its properties, which includes the Society Notice Board.
2. Society Notice Board box, can be used ONLY for Society related issues. However members may paste their Notifications alongside the Notice Board daaba.
3. Cultural Committee, which comprises of society members themselves, are entitled to use the Society common spaces, for cultural /puja/ play activities, which shall be for the overall benefits of the Society residents.
4. Any restrictions or restraining by the MC, should be duly complained to the local Police on emergency no. 100, and complain about the intimidation & restraining by the MC.
