govt. service vs education

I applied for central govt job and it took two complete years from exams to appointment, during this period i completed two years out of my three year graduation course (in Uttarakhand) . I have joined the department recently(in meghalaya) , can i continue my graduation course (it being regular). Can i get a leave witnout pay for this period or can i only attend the exams?

Your question is incomplete without mention of the date of joining the department or having completed how much period on your job and also the period of leave without pay you require without pay.

Entitlement for any period of leave without pay depends on the criteria of your period of service or your confirmation on the post.

I have joined the service on 23 rd july 2018, and i am under a probation period of two years, i want to seek a leave as such, that i am able to complete two semesters i.e. 5th and 6th so a leave of 7 to 8 months would do. Please suggest possible remedies

it is for deptt to give you leave or not to give you leave.

No leave without pay can be granted in your case. However, you may better read terms & conditions of your appointment letter, specifically pertaining to leave.

leave without pay can be granted provided the controlling officers are willing to sanction.

False hopes may not help you in any way. Leave Rules are not favorable in your case. Willingness or discretion of the controlling officers has no relevance as against the provisions of statutory leave rules of the Central Government.
