Submission of affidavit by opposite party;consumer forum

Is it mandatory for the person (responsible Person of OP) affirming (ie signing the affidavit ) , to be present in the court while submitting the Affidavit ? The OP is a Corporate (Private Entity)

The corporate party can legally depute a person to represent it.

No, it is not compulsory for OP to be present personally at the time of submission of evidence by way of affidavit in Consumer Fora.
