What is the law regarding registration of FIR against a judge of a high court or a supreme court?
Do we have to fulfill certain conditions prior to registration of FIR?

Send all the details to Chief Justice of HC/SC and seek his permission to lodge FIR for any misdeed done by a sitting judge of HC/SC. please note that if you do not have a clinching evidence against the Judge named in your complaint you may be prosecuted for contempt of court.

See for what reason you want to file FIR ? Details thereof.

Few week back I raised severe objection against some one stating judges are protected by judges protection and immunity act (exact wording of that act may not be correct) but I read that act. No person can do anything against judge while he performance duty under official capacity while delivering justice , if you are aggrieved only remedy available is to appeal against the order.

Now coming to your point again I failed to understand what judge has done crime , neither you failed to specify any kind of evidence, although I discourage sharing evidence on public platform still you are making serious allegation , please prepare yourself well then only take step.

Even police Dept keep silent when they lack proper evidence, they wait and watch for right time.

Anyhow there is post called Registrar vigilance in Bombay high court directly reporting to chief justice so other state hc also may have similar post you may approach them but without evidence well preparation if you move then sorry I will strongly discourage you

I read your question again you are making allegation against high court or supreme court judge. And it came in my mind if fir is filled or some serious allegation you make matter lands up to impeachment of such judge . Please be sure what you talk , without understanding what kind of offense you are alleging what evidence you have etc. And that too without looking who you are passing comment can drag all of us in controversy because I have seen people who don't have complete understanding of law goes and write something against judges eventually bringing all in trouble .
