Final report date.

Police recently made me receive a final report on my FIR dated: 10.10.2016 while a criminal misc writ petition order dated 26.10.16 dismissing the petition to quash the SAME FIR states that the investigation HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED TILL DATE" and directs police to file an FR us 173 expeditiously. What's wrong? Is their any foul play by police?

Police correctly stated to the HIgh Court that the investigation is on. on the directions of the High Court the police might have completed investigation and field the report. What is the report? whether your complaint disclosed any triable offence? report asked the court to try the offenders or report says that your complaint is false or undetectable.
