Can i register a will with a different(back) date?

Can i register a will today with a older date ?
E.g., if registering date is 23/08/2016...i wish to have the date on the will as 01/10/2015.

i am from Karnataka.

please advise on this.

Can any one go against law? what is the use of putting back date in the will? why did you not think about the legal problems, if it is proved later? you should not question about back date in this legal forum.

Sorry if i have posted something wrong. I am not sure if this is legally allowed. That is why i am approaching this expert forum to guide me.

I am not looking at tweaking the dates illegally. But i am asking can i put the date on the will document as 01/10/2015 and get it registered today. Is this legal?

please help and advice.
