REGARDING THE REVISION AND REVIEW KINDLY NOTE THAT.
1.REVIEW APPLICATION IS FILED BEFORE THE SAME COURT WHICH PASSED THE ORDER.ONE SHOULD MENTION THE REASONS AND GROUNDS FOR THE SAME.COURT WILL CALL SAY OF OTHER SIDE AND UP ON HEARING BOTH THE SIDES MAY REVIEW THE ORDER OR REJECT IT.
2.REVISION APPLICATION IS FILED BY ENCLOSING CERTIFIED COPY OF THE ORDER OF LOWER COURT .THE COURT SUPERIOR TO LOWER COURT WILL CALL SAY OF OTHER SIDE AND UP ON HEARING BOTH THE SIDES AND CONSIDERING GROUNDS OF REVISION MAY ALLOW THE REVISION APPLICATION OR REJECT IT. COPY OF ORDER IS SENT TO THE LOWER COURT .

KINDLY NOTE THAT IN CIVIL MATTERS REVIEW IS PERMISSIBLE BUT IN CRIMINAL MATTERS REVIEW IS NOT PERMISSIBLE.THERE ARE CITATIONS ON THIS POINT PLEASE NOTE.

IN CASE YOU NEED ANY FURTHER HELP YOU MAY WRITE OR SEND DETAILS.
WITH BEST REGARDS TO YOU YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

In addition to Makkad & Sawant Sir's opinion. I have to say that many courts held that, review lie only on the clerical or arithmetical error or error related to law apparent on the face of judgment or order. all issues herd earlier can not be raised in review. while in revision these all issues can be raised and can be decided.

I agree with all the views.
