Injunction suit by one of the son, property title and possession stands in d name of his late father

(Querist) 01 June 2016 This query is : Resolved
I purchased land Ac.0-10gts out of Ac.1-28gts from one Ramaiah in the year 1996 through an agreement of sale (Rs.10/- stamp). since then i am in peaceful possession of the same. no registration, mutation of rights taken place. about 2 years back said Ramaiah was died. He has three daughters and two sons. The title and possession for entire land stands still in the name of deceased Ramaiah. One of the son filed injunction suit against me. The said son also signed the agreement of sale along with his father. Now he is denying the same. whether the suit is maintainable?
Kumar Doab (Expert) 01 June 2016
If he has signed and is denying then if it is proved beyond doubt that he indeed signed then he shall be in trouble.

Another perspective is that;Is this agreement valid since 1996 to date!
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 09 June 2016
The land has not been purchased by you. Sale agreement is valid for three years if otherwise agreed upon.

Try to have amicable settlement and get the property registered in your name.
