There is agriculture land. The land 7/12 extract is in name of father who is no more. we our three brothers we want to get 7/12 extract recorded in our name.we also intent to get land divided among us. which document should be prepared for both of this?

the land is in gujarat.

First of all submit the Death certificate, and other requisite docs e.g; affidavit of legal heir/Legal heir Certificate to local revenue office e.g Patwari to record inheritance in the names of all CalssI legal heirs e.g:

Wife, sons, daughters................

Thereafter registered family agreement, partition deed are the options.

Approach the local Patwari to get the formality to be completed.

Can take help of local lawyer.
