Showcause notice from family court

Sir,
My sister received show cause notice from family court.Upon inquiry came to know that my brother-in-law has filled an IA in a matrimonial dispute case which was disposed in 2011.After that high court appeal of the case was also disposed in 2014.
Can u file an IA even after 4 years of dispose of the case.
Kindly suggest what should be done.What happens if she absents on the day of first appearance mentioned in show cause notice, as she has to go out of country.

Dear Shahid,
You have not told about the contents of the notice. First go through the same and then raise the appropriate question.

As far as your sister's going abroad is concerned, she can apply to the court for seeking time to file her reply.
