Cheated by a student for clearing papers

Hi I'm from chennai and during the course of my college, I wanted to clear my arrear papers so seeked help from a student who told will help me out if I pay him so much amount of money. I know that what I did was illegal and no legal action can be taken. The person cheated me by taking my money and not doing the job. I've got audio and video proof of the person stating that if the papers aren't cleared that he would return my money back within a month but it's been almost half a year and I've been trying to reach him but he's conveniently avoiding my calls and fooling around. Can any legal action be taken ? Kindly help me put in this issue.

You are Expecting a Legal Remedy for your Illegal activity.Not only Taking,Giving is also an Offence in your Case.Amicably settle it with him.

You can read news papers regarding Vyapam scandal of MP taking lives of many. You have tried same offence.

No legal remedy for illegal activity.
