Cheque bounce

Hi sir I have got a cheque of amount 4 lakh it got bounced ,I issued a legal notice to him but did not filed complaint in court then he came to compromise and agreed to pay 4 lakh but he is asking withdrawal of legal notice I have given declaration that I will not proceed further on a plain paper with my signature and agreed to give back his cheque and return memo but he is asking only with drawl of legal notice what's the process of withdrawal of legal notice

your friend's behavior is very strange. there is so many ways to getting/giving receipt as acknowledgement for the cheque amount.

even he want to withdraw your legal ntice, just once again issue a fresh notice by withdrawing earlier notice.

reason may be anything as of you both.

Ask him to issue another cheque of the disputed / agreed amount and You can give in writing that you withdraw your legal notice and hand over / give back the cheque in question as you have received another cheque / draft.

So far as withdrawal of notice is concern
Notice means something is brought into knowledge, how it can be withdrawn
Compliance of notice itself is satisfaction of notice
