Dear experts,
Wife is a Christian BC caste had love marriage with a SC caste man. 2years completed. Now she is trying to change his religion in to her. But he won't like to change religion. Wife and her parents insulting repeatedly husband regarding sc status. Before marriage,They know very well that he is a sc caste , but now they are feeling cheaper for category of husband. Husband is suffering a lot of mental agony. Marriage also not registered, live in relationship. The victim, husband now what to do? Going for counseling? Or filing atrocity case against her parents ? Or for divorce? All the matter is inside four walls. No witness for this. Please help my friend sirs.

Sir,
He should gather some evidence as to this fact in order to ensure that these kind of things are happening with him.
Yes he can file a complaint against them to teach them a lesson, but I feel a witness is very much required because in these such cases the problem generally arises when it comes to witness thing.

In addition to what MR.Kapil has mentioned, U say it is not a marriage but only live in relationship,then why doesn't he break ties with her.
One authentic evidence of cruelty by that family against him would add weight for lodging a complaint under SC&ST Atrocities Act.

Whether it is marriage or live in relation?
Whether the marriage was celebrated under special marriage act or religion of any one was changed before marriage?
Consult local lawyer and discuss in detail.

apatr from that my suggestion is, problem is your's sir. first you have to decide that what you going to do. after that you may consult your advocate for further proceedings.

When there is no marriage where is the question of divorce.
But even though live in relation,the woman is at liberty to file 498 A and dv .
