Experience letter for freelancing work

Hi
I am freelancer(working from home) web developer, I am working on web developing work and getting projects from some individual friends and online references. sometimes I am getting of payment of my work and sometimes not.
I am applying MNC but then need experience letter, May I show experience letter of my work of my friend company but as a freelancer web developer.
is it illegal?
I worked for somebodyelse but I dont have proof so May I show my work experience as a my friend company letter as a proof.
freelance work then can be count as a part time work.
let me know is it legal or not.
can it create problem for me in future for this letter?

All establishments and individuals for whom you have worked can issue a document stating that you have completed ..................work ...........from dated...........to dated..........by hard copy (and get soft copy from authorized email as well).
Freelance worked are not employees.
Your friend shall have to maintain proper record of any document issued to you and support you during reference checks/BGV.
Instead of illegal/unfair means adopt fair and legal meass.

It was small small task sometimes one day or weekly work .. how can possible writing proof for every such work.
I work as freelancer for two years for taking experience. but my friend company letter will be illegal ?
can it create problem for me in future?

SORRY. MR FREE LANCER ..IT S UNFAIR ON THE PART OF COMPANIES ASKING FREE LANCERS TO PRODUCE AN EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE.. IT IS LIKE ASKING AN ADVOCATE TO GIVE A CERTIFICATE BY HIS CLIENT THAT HE IS A GOOD OR BAD ADVOCATE .
VERY WORD 'FREE LANCE' MEANS ONE NEED TO USE HIM AND FIND HIS USE FOR HIM OR SO.
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE IF AN ADVOCATE TAKES A CASE OF A CLIENT HE WOULD WIN THE MATTER, AS EVER NOW AND THEN RESPONDENTS MIGHT COME OUT WITH FACTA WHILE HEARING HOW THEN AN ADVOCATE COULD ASSURE A CLIENT THAT HE WOULD WIN.
IN FACT CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE ABOUT THE ISSUE HE IS FIGHTING FOR AT LEAST AS A FACT BUT ADVOCATE CHECKS WITH RELEVANT STANDING LAWS AT THE GIVEN TIME, SO ALSO THE FREE LANCER PLEASE.
SO YOU COULD ALWAYS SAY IF YOU WANT TRY IN A WEB BUILDING MATTER IF NOT BETTER LUCK TO YOU NEXT TIME SIR, AND THUS BOLDLY TELL THE USER.
NO POINT WORKING FOR TESTIMONIAL GATHERERS IN ANY CLIENTS.
IF TESTIMONIALS ARE VITAL HOW WOULD A SMALL BUILDER WOULD GIVE YOU A TESTIMONIAL THAT HE IS A GREAT COMPETENT BUILDER, AS HE IS ALSO A FREE LANCER SIR..
SO ALSO IN EVERY PRIVATE FREE LANCING SIR IS THE RIGHT WAY SIR.

If some one is employed say by some IT/ITeS/web designing company then as per enactments applicable to the company/establishment..............various forms/registers are to be maintained showing the names,work hours,wages paid etc..........
A company has to maintain the record of projects/tasks etc performed and considerations/amounts paid/expenses incurred.............in case of job orders etc...
The certificate issued to you may be sent for reference check/BGV by MNC thru its internal or external or third party resources....................and it should be verified by the establishment that has issued it.

I DO NOT AGREE WITH EXPERT IDEA OF A CERTIFICATE WHAT IS A GUARANTEE THE USER WOULD GIVE YOU A CERTIFICATE HE ADVISED.
THERE CANNOT BE CERTIFICATES UNLESS ONE IS A REGULAR EMPLOYEE, OR IF THERE IS REAL CONTRACT AGREEMENT IS DRAWN BUT FREE LANCERS ARE NOT GOVERNED BY ANY SUCH NORMS!
IF ONE IS TO THINK , IT IS LIKE ASKING A PERSON WHAT RELIGION HE BELONGS BUT YOU CANNOT ASK ONE'S RELIGION AS PER ART.25 AS BOMBAY HIGH COURT CONFIRMED ART 25 INDICATES NO AUTHORITY COULD ASK YOUR RELIGION AS INDIA IS A SECULAR COUNTRY.
BJP MIGHT BE RELIGIONS LIKE MUSLIM LEAGUE BUT NEITHER COULD USE THEIR PARTY IDEAS WHILE INTERPRETING EXTRAPOLATINGLY THE VERY CONSTITUTIONAL TENETS PLEASE.
EVERY THING HAS A LIMITATION. SO TOO FREE LANCE WORK SIR!

I SEE THESE KINDS OF CERTIFICATES INSISTED BY IT KIND COMPANIES, BUT IT IS UNSAFE DOCUMENTATION ONE NEED TO REALIZE.
IN FREE LANCING NO CERTIFICATE COULD REPLACE ONE'S BEST CAPABILITY AFTER ALL EVERY NEW WORK NEEDS A NEW UPGRADED EXPERTISE THAT HAPPENSTANCE IF ONE GOES ON PRACTICING. THAT IS THE BEGINNING AND END THAT IS ALL.

The MNC that is to employ you is to ask you to produce the documents to support claims of your experience and may check the documents OR it may ask to display your skills for real/on the spot test.
If you pass their conditions you would be employed.
You may negotiate with them what can be supplied by you and what not.

If I cleared the technical interview but during verification round I have to submit a letter of proof or my work so I am asking you.
then want me proof such letter or payslip, then don't understand I was working as freelancer.
so i asked my friend such letter but I am afraid it can be illegal or it can create problem for me in future?

Have you billed people for having done work on free lance basis?
Those invoices will be proof enough for your experience. No other letter is expected.
If you give letter only from your friend, and not from others, that will not show you in good light. After all, how much work you might have done for your friend - not much I believe. Therefore, what sort of support will be given by that single letter from your friend?

No I didnt give them bill, letter can be proof only I worked for someone I want only save these two years
but MNC want bank statement and any other salary proof also but as freelancer there is not proof for salary statement.

Without bill / other documentary proof of assignments assigned to you and completed by you for them, the letter would give impression of fake document. It would result in adverse impression.
Rest is your choice.

NO NEED TO RESPOND FOR REFERENCES IN REGARD TO FREELANCERS' WORK ...AS YOU ARE NOT A RIGHT EMPLOYER OBSERVED FREELANCER OVER YEARS, HOW THEN YOU WOULD TAKE THE REFERENCE ENQUIRIES PLS.

i thought to give bill those people whom I worked for their sites in last 6 months. and will take a letter from their also of clients.
and also write a letter from my friend company for freelancing work I will not give bill because it company and many companies provide part time freelancing work, freelancer not an employee but it's work for a company frequently not regular basis so I keep a letter also.
let me know it will be legal now?

A freelancer is a freelancer, he cannot be deemed to be an employee with any organisation.If he is not able to produce his experience by evidence, it clearly indicates that he has no experience in the said field too. Taking a friend's letter for experience is an illegal issue which you know pretty well because being a friend, he can give anything in writing to support you, whereas on verification at a later stage if he is not able to produce evidence to his certificate to you, both of you will be in a fix for fraud and cheating.
