What is action taken by roadways after bus driver convicted by court under ipc 279 & 337

and what is benifit to injured person after driver held guilty in the above case.

The principles of liability governing civil actions and criminal prosecutions based on negligence differ. Criminal Law in India recognize degree of negligence. The negligence which would justify conviction must be culpable or of gross degree.The law is that relating to the legal consequences of accidents and the action to be taken after a victim in injured, particularly in an accident caused by motor vehicles. The victim or their family may file another case in Motor Accident Claim Tribunal for compensation.

There is no benefit to the injured person in the punishment given to the accused in the criminal case, the injured can claim compensation through MACT.
