Sell a car with pending accident case

(Querist) 26 December 2013 This query is : Resolved 
my father has a pending accident case going on for last 3yrs under sec 279, 338 ipc in bhopal, (M.P). he wishes to sell the car now.
Is it possible to take permission from the court to sell the vehicle.
plz advice.

The criminal case u/s 279 and 338 is against the individual,if the car has not been shown as court property, you may proceed with its disposal.

if the car was released on superdari then the court permission is mandatory otherwise not
