Sir,
Kindly advice,
I have a domestic electric connection in gurgaon.
But I can use basement section for commercial use.
electrical deptt inpose full amount commercial.
but my one portion out of 4 is commercial
balance is residention.
Kindly advise for releife from DHBVN Ltd bill, they impose penaly for using domestic light to commercial light.

Puneet to my opinion for the basement u ll ve to apply for a separate connection, the commercial connection.riven

Better advised by Kiran Kumar. According to sale circular of DHBVNL, if a domestic connection either in part is being used for the commercial purpose, entire consumption is to be charged as Non-domestic consumption and additionally penalty can also be imposed for the violation of specific agreement so better you seek separate connection for your basement.riven

what was d assisment ?
what was the particulars (load) write by electricity department on d time of imposing penalty?
plz. sand me p.m. dn i suggest how u can file a consumer case against electricity dept.

This is a case of change of purpose. U have violet the condition of agreement so u r a defaulter. My advice is that don't make litigation better way is represent your case before the forum of electricity company and settled the matter out of court.riven
