Dear Friends,
A and B are sibling.
A has been living is ahouse previously owned by a famous Brtish Citizen in prior independence, who sold his house and other belongnings to the forfathers of A and B. A subsequently sold this hiuse to B. B has developed the said house as residence cum musem where collection of various old items of the British Citizen are preserved by him in the said house. A is possession of a knife/sword of the British citizen inherited by him. Now A and B enter into an agreement to sell/but the said knife.sword for a consideration of say rs 2 lacs.
Is the agreement is legally valid ?
Thanks

Since knife/sword comes under arms, can sale or purchase of it under a written agreement is legal and enforceable. However the object is lawful i.e. to keep as an antique item in the museum.
