Husband kill wife and surrender to police

respected sir/madam
6 years ago,my friends father and mother arrange a marriage for his mama(mother brother) daughter for another person.both are living in delhi since their marriage.my friends sister came to his home various occassion like holi,rakhabandan etc.
but suddenly a few days ago, her husband kill in a home.
my friends mama saying that his mohter liable for this.
my frineds mather never went to her house.
accused husband called police and surrender immediately.

pls suggest me.
can my friends mama action against my friens mother on the basis of marriage was arranged by her.

What was the cause of murder as stated by accused husband or by the parents of the deceased.

In case your friend and mother are accused of dowry death by alleging dowry torture then they could be liable. Otherwise the person who arranges a marriage is not a guarantor of its suceess had it been the case the jails would have a seperate cell for matrimonial agents.
