Marriage

Dear experts

If an US citizen of Indian origin marries an Indian citizen, what are the legal implications?
Is the marriage valid in the US?

Are there any restrictions by the Indian Govt.before the marriage is conducted?

if marriage takes place abroad it wont give indian courts jurisdcition unless marriage is regsitered in india under sepcial marriage act .

better to hav marriage regd in india .
