Ld Counsels,
Father in law filed a complaint in which he had alleged that the husband demanded 10 lacs dowry and no allegation against husband's parents in that complaint. This complaint was withdrawn and later wife filed another complaint.
In the 161 statement father in law gave a different version of dowry demand that the parents of the husband demanded dowry and no dowry allegations against husband.
Can the omission to take dowry allegation against the parents in the previous complaint of father in law be used to contradict his evidence. Will such omission and variation in dowry allegations are material.
Please clarify.
