Dear sir,
Firstly I want to thank you for good forem. My query is:I have a plot ,taken from society by my father as registered patta,father is not alive,we have registered name in nagar nigam,jal santhan,we want to sell this plot:so we have done registered agreement with some party on the behalf of power of atorneny regd. from our father when he is alive,now time period of agreement expired, 1:Are we bond with this agreement?2:question :society is not giving NOC/or freehold,How we take NOC/OR FREEHOLD.QUE.:This agreement effct ous in future?

since plot has been taken by your father on detah of your father the name of legal heirs have to be brought on record .
after the death of your father power of attorney ceases to have any validity .
it appears that purusant to said power of attorney you have entered into regsitered agreement for sale with buyer . however since society failed to issue NOC sale could not get trhough nad time mentioned in agreement has expired .
after death of your father POA has no force . get name of plot transfrred in name of legal heirs . why did the society not issue NOC ? your query is silent on said aspect . contact a local lawyer
