Licence for driving a private bus

I want to know whether a person having a driving licence to drive LTV can drive a bus or not in Haryana,secondly what endorsement is necessary in DL for driving a bus in Haryana.Plz help

You need to have a HTV license.

Driving rules are same all over India.

u need heavy [HTV] license to drive bus, even Eicher tempo.

As per view of P & H Highcourt in case New india vs Haryana roadways Decided on 16/12/08 ,is it correct that only a person having DL of HPV only can drive a bus...Regards
