Division of ancestral agricultural land

(Querist) 25 December 2011 This query is : Resolved
ANCESTRAL AGRICULTURAL LAND AFTER THE DEATH OF MY FATHER MADE EQUALLY AMONGST WE THREE BROTHERS AND MOTHER I.E 25% EACH.

NOW MOTHER OUT OF HER SHARE OF 25% WANTS TO GIVE MOE THAN 505 TO ONE OF THE SONS .

IS IT LEGALLY POSSIBLE?
Dayananda Gowda (Expert) 25 December 2011
After the partition, the share allotted to your mother is treated as her individual property. She may give any portion of her share to any person and it is legal.

Definitely, she has the sole discretion to do whatever she likes to do with her share of property. No cone can challenge that.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 26 December 2011
YOUR MOTHER CAN DO SO AS OF RIGHT AND NO BODY HAS LEGAL RIGHT TO INTERFERE AT ALL.
