Trust falls in R T I ACT

Govt alloted a land on lease for 99 yrs.
for a Trust. I Tax dept. give exmption.
Munciple corporation give exmption on octrio.
Above mention trust can fall on RTI
TRUST SAID WE ARE NOT APPLICABLE RTI

Is it true? Plz.advise

Yes, the trust in question is not a public authority and as such is not amenable to RTI Act, 2005.

A citizen can ask information under RTI Act from any organisation if it is funded totally or partly by the government funds.
