my lawyer is not diligently serving my case

Sir,

I have consumer cout complaint against builder which has admitted in the state forum. I have engaged attoreny and a high court lawyer since 1 year as I am overseas. I promptly pay for his service. I have noticed he is not deligent in his work towards my case and in spite of cautioning, he made mistake in prayer for which he filed amendment. But he billed huge amount. When I asked justification for charges he scared me of giving up service at this moment of my needs.

How to deal with such situation? I am frustated with this lawyer's grossness and upperhand in dealing with my case.

When you are not satisfied with the service of your lawyer then you can change him and replace with any new lawyer at any point of time you wish.

You can engage a new lawyer always. Do you have proof for payment of fees to your existing lawyer. Inform this details to the new lawyer.

Thank you sir for your prompt response. I have some payment record. Can anyone suggest me a sincere lawyer to offer replacement to my current lawyer to continue the matter at mumbai state forum. My attoreny is in mumbai.

There will be few formalities need to do in this regards. Can some expert tell me how I can manage doing replacement of lawyer when I am at overseas ?

Your attorney can change lawyer for you. no formalities at all. You need not to come for this purpose. Ask your attorney to find out a good lawyer.
