CORRECTION DEED/RELEASE DEED

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 April 2011 This query is : Resolved 
A Flat booked in the name of two brother,one is employed other not employed.Bank given loan sanction letter in the name of employed brother.Registered agreement is in the name of both brother.Now bank wants CORRECTION/RELEASE DEED in the name of employed brother prior to disbursement of loan.What would be the stamp duty?

If the property is not transferred in the name of the unemployed brother then the stamp duty would be negligible.

from which state you belong? In rajasthan negligible reg. fee is payable on correction deed.
