i have given 1 room kitchen on rent without any agreement at Dehradun uttrakhand. now my tenant is not vacating my house.what is to be done. I have already given him notice for eviction. he did not reply. after that i have filed a suit in district court but he is not reponding.

Nothing to worry,terminate his tenancy by serving a notice upon the tenant giving him thirty days time to vacate the premises and wait.If he does not comply with the notice file a suit for his ejection or balance rent if any.

You have no other choice than to get the premises vacated only by following procedure of law. You need to issue a quit notice and upon failure to quit, you need to file an eviction suit in civil court.

you can also ask eviction on the ground of bona fide requirement in addition with the ground of non-payment and nuisance.
