I have received a summon from court directing me to appear . Is it necessary that i should personaly appear or shall i engage a lawyer to appear on my behalf .

you may appear personally or engage any lawyer as you wish, he can advise you whether your personal presence is necessary or not, depending upon the nature of case.

Thanks . It is from the district court regarding rceertain deficiencies in compliance under Factories Act. The other party is Inspector of factories

You can contact your counsel, It is against the prosecution of non compliance of provisions of the Factories Act. So it is necessary for you to appear in person and seek bail first.
