can one residential plot be in two Survey nos.

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 23 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
Kindly clarify whether one residential plot can be situated in two survey nos i.e in 251 and 252 in a particular lay out of say 200 acres. The area of the plot is 8500 sq ft. residential plot.

Some broker told me if it is so it means 50% or more of the plot area is meant for park, or internal road or other purpose and not for residential purpose.

Kindly clarify.

A Lay Out of 200 Acres will be with Several Survey Numbers and within several Sy Nos;- Lay out Plan will be approved - It is possible a Plot within lay out may be in Two Survey Numbers- with in the approved Lay Out t . It is required to verify the approved lay out plan - whether this plot of 8500 Square Feet (or 945 Square yards ) is one of the approved plot/plotted area - or - it is open place of approved Lay Out Plan or Road in Approved lay out plan - unless it is verified with the approved lay out plan - we can not say it is park/open place( 10 % of lay out ) or it is road ( 30 % of lay out ) - There is no wrong if a plot is situated in Two Sy Nos within a lay out plan of 200 Acres .- Particulars may be verified before actual sale & purchase . You may take assistance of Licensed Surveyor of the Local Body where the plots are situated .
