questions to lawyer?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 16 November 2010 This query is : Resolved
in trial court and d.j. court same lawyer is appointed by wife.

there are two different statement on oath as under-
1. rs. 100000/- given in marriage as dowery

2. rs. 100000/- brought with herself to matrimonial house of husband.

is it possible to call the lawyer of wife in witness box to give true explanations on such two different statement to prove which one is true of that two different statement as you are a same lawyer who written both the statement?
on any one of that basis is it possible to prosecute the wife or lawyer to either any one court under the perjury?

You have already got the reply that no such case lies against the lawyer and also requested not to post the same query again and again.

a lawyer is just a mouthpiece of his client...you can not bring the lawyer to the witness box for such kind of explanations.

and keep one thing in mind dont try to be offensive against the opposite lawyer, it will bring more troubles to you only.

keep confined to your matter and the opposite party.

That is why lawyers always speak and quote..."Under the Instructions of my client..."in all his arguments defending his clients.

IN THE CODE OF ETHICS IT IS CLEARLY EXPLAINED THAT THE ADVOCATE SHOULD NOT BE THE MOUTH PEACE OF CLIENT. BUT HERE YOU CAN NOT CALL THE LAWYER AS WITNESS .WHAT EVER HE RECEIVED THE DIRECTIONS OF HIS CLIENT, HE ACTED ON IT.
