getting exparte divorce abroad while a property dispute pending in india is it valid

while a property dispute is pending in india, wife obtains an exparte divorce from abroad although marriage solemnized in india.
is it valid in india and is there any way to challenge in the court granting the divorce.

Foreign judgments are binding on Indian courts.You have to challenge the same and set it aside by following the procedure prescribed for this purpose by the laws of that country.
