This query is : Resolved
We have a society having its registered office in Uttar Pradesh. it is registered with U P registrar.
As per MoA of this society, it's working area is all over Uttar pradesh.
Now it wants to add in its working area the state of uttarakhand also.
My query is whether we would be reuired to get the society registered in the state of uttarakhand also or can operate without registration...........? or any other compliance is required in such case.

Amend the MOA to the effect that the society can carry its activities any where in India and start operations in Uttarakand, there is no other compliance other tahn the one stated above.

No. No such requirement is there in any law of India. What Mr.Vishal has opined is right.
