Hi,

whether Account Blocked / Freezed comes under section 138 N.I.Act or not? Account Blocked/Freezed can be prosecuted under section 138 NI Act? please refer suproted judements .

The account frozen by the order of the court does not attract the rigours of section 138 of NI Act.

Yes because the act provides that the cheque should have been given from the account maintained by the accused , that means from existing account and not from closed, freezed or blocked account.
